About Nifty Ink

Established in 2007

Nifty Ink is owned and operated by writer and editor Amber Hsiao.

The idea for Nifty Ink began in 2006 as Amber was working with nonprofit clients that had lots of potential to reach larger audiences, but faced limited resources. Amber wanted to find a way to lend her expertise in writing to such organizations at affordable prices.

Drawing on years of experience and knowledge in the nonprofit and small business sectors, she consults on print and online publication projects to help organizations more effectively use the written word to reflect the work they do. She has a keen understanding of the technical and creative aspects of new media, distinguishing her from traditional print-based editors.

Amber received her bachelor's of arts in Mass Communications and Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley. She completed her Professional Editing Certification at the University of California, Berkeley, Extension. Samples of her writing and work may be viewed in her portfolio or her personal website.
